Clinical Relevance

A biomedical device - no matter how revealing the data it delivers is - can only achieve clinical relevance by improving the medical outcome.

Medical Outcome is optimized, when both following factors are improved:

  1. the condition of a patient at the end of a therapy, including the degree of wellness AND
  2. the costs for medical care, medication, support, counseling or education

For CNSystems' technologies the following efforts have been made:

  1. Analysis of the current clinical practice - how are hemodynamics measured today?
  2. CNAP® must provide data within a clinically accurate range.

  3. Identification of the most important information that leads to clinically relevant therapy consequences and therefore improves medical outcome including cost reduction.
